Here's the thing, I never said I have the right to say anything about someone as respected as Shakespeare. I am not as well read as I might want to be. I can understand that you love Shakespeare and many literature graduates do, maybe I will, too, after my degree. For now, these are my opinions. Also, what you mentioned, the poetic style of writing, I love it, it is beautiful. But, it is also very tedious. I also mentioned I like his poetry, even if just for the pleasure of it. Yes, I will try to get more knowledge about the meters and rhymes and techniques to enjoy literature. You see what the problem is, right? I am replying to you just because you seem to me a reasonable person. You have a bent perspective because you have been taught the style and the greatness of his works, without mentioning the flaws, in uni. I would also suggest you to read the prose that Shakespeare 'stole' plot from. And, just to be clear, I do not like Marlowe, I said Tolstoy preffered him, not me, I read only 1 act because I was bored, I was not bored of King Lear. Thank you for letting me know your thoughts though, I appreciate it!
