I Should have Expected this
I have been on Medium for a long time, but I stopped writing sometime around 2 years ago and I want to start again.
I was supposed to do a 500 day challenge, I stopped around 70 as I started working on a writing project and focused all my energy towards it. I should have known that it will not be easy to just hop back in, well now I do… it has taken me two years to do it. I did a lot of things in the meantime, perhaps most importantly I completed my first three semesters at a university. It has not been the smoothest of rides but I can only be grateful given how troubled a lot of the world currently is.
What will I be writing about?
Really, I have no clue. I have a few ideas but they range from music to philosophy to just opinions about random things to my favourite words and other nerdy stuff. I just know that I feel like writing on Medium again as I try to get back into the habit of regular writing, and it’s a ride I want as many people to keep me accountable on as possible. Will I be posting everyday? Probably not. Will I be writing everyday? Hopefully. I aim to publish anywhere from 2–7 articles per week which should be doable as there have been weeks in 2021 where I posted over 10 long articles… do not expect that (Not that anyone is, anymore, after the last two years).
But yeah, it’ll be fun, hopefully the stories will be of passable quality because I really have not exercised my writing chops apart from mindless 12am essay sprints in the last two years. See ya when I’m ready with my first story :)
