Most people who are interested in articles related to football keep getting flooded by stats right, left and center. They will also have very strong opinions on what I said. Messi was not the second best player of this season according to many people. I feel that there are some things that do not come up greatly in many articles I read about football, and those are the things I try to highlight. I go into depth when I write about literature because there are no articles about those topics in literature that I could find. I do it intentionally, but not as a means to keep it interesting, but to cut the things that people already are bombarded with.

For example, whoscored, opta stats and Onefootball continually post articles and tweets regarding interesting stats, and I am not here to reinforce those, I am not a teacher. I want to communicate with people who are also interested in football. I just went out with some of my friends, and we talked about football, but not about the stats, or the tactics, but how beautiful it all is and how we would love to do that. So, to answer your question, for the people I aim at, which is people like me, it works, at least better than the information dense articles!

Anyway, thank you for reading and letting me know your thoughts!
